Deputy Director, Administrative Operations

Ionna Jimenez is a dedicated leader with over 14 years of experience in community development, operations, and program management. She currently serves as the Deputy Director of Administrative Operations at the Center for Justice Innovation, where she oversees organizational infrastructure, risk management, procurement, and operational efficiency to support the Center’s mission-driven work. In this role, Ionna focuses on strengthening internal systems, streamlining processes, and ensuring that teams across the organization have the resources they need to maximize impact.

Previously, Ionna served as the Project Director of the Brownsville Community Justice Center, where she led day-to-day operations, forged strategic partnerships, and mobilized youth and stakeholders to drive community-based solutions. Under her leadership, she expanded economic empowerment initiatives and developed youth workforce strategies that continue to benefit the Brownsville community.

A Brownsville native, Ionna’s career has been deeply rooted in advancing opportunities for low-to-moderate-income communities. Her expertise in coalition building, program development, and operational strategy continues to shape her work as she transitions into this new role, ensuring the Center’s work is supported by strong, sustainable systems.
