Dana C. Rivera is the clinical director at Brooklyn Justice Initiatives. In this role, she completes mental health assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, and carries a case load that consists of youths and adult nonviolent offenders with identified mental health concerns. Her work also involves engaging clients in case management and supportive counseling. Her previous experience includes more than five years with the State of New Jersey’s Department of Children and Families working with youths ages 5-21 with complex mental and behavioral health concerns. She holds a Master of Social Work from New York University and will obtain an M.S. Nonprofit Leadership from Fordham University, August 2016. She is a Licensed Master’s Social Worker.
