We're hosting a cocktail party in Brooklyn Heights to toast to the Center for Justice Innovation’s 30th anniversary—from our New York City roots to our vision to spread community justice across the nation.
The Staten Island Justice Center will be having a Resource Fair! This is a free event is open to the community and offers a great opportunity to connect with a wide range of organizations and services from across Staten Island, including the New York Public Library, El Centro del Immigrante, the Pride Center, and more!
The Bronx County Criminal and Family Courts are hosting the Future Focus Job Resource Fair, bringing together re-entry friendly employers, on-site professional resources, and -site headshot photographers, and a brief speaker series highlighting re-entry stories. Attendees are encouraged to come prepared with identification, a resume, and any relevant certifications, with professional attire recommended.
Punch x Center for Justice Innovation: CIRCLE UP Talkback with Jennifer Gil Vinueza
Inspired by the restorative justice circle practices depicted in Punch, audience members are invited to stay after this select matinee performance for a talkback co-facilitated by Center Staff Jennifer Gil Vinueza and a Manhattan Theatre Club Teaching Artist.
Our RISE Project is bringing the Brooklyn community together to stand with survivors against domestic violence. Alongside Council Member Chi Ossé, Assembly Member Stefani Zinerman, the Mayor’s Office to End Gender-Based Violence, and other community partners, they will uplift survivors’ voices and provide essential resources, free food, and live music to honor Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

At this convening, our partner organizations will aim to elevate municipal courts within the national conversation, while centering the voice and expertise of individuals who best understand and can attest to the range of impact that system involvement can have on an individual and the community.
