Reimagining Pretrial Responses to Intimate Partner Violence

Overview

Reimagining Pretrial Responses to Intimate Partner Violence is a multi-day virtual training conference hosted by the Center for Justice Innovation and the Battered Women’s Justice Project. The conference brings together the justice system and community stakeholders to explore more effective pretrial practices in intimate partner violence cases.

Through expert-led sessions and panel discussions, participants will examine topics including IPV dynamics, risk assessment, conditions of bond, judicial and defense perspectives, community-based supervision, survivor notification, and the criminalization of survivors.
