Anthony Liberatoscioli is the Project Director of Bronx Community Solutions, one of the Center’s oldest court-based projects, in operation for over 20 years. At BCS, Anthony oversees a wide range of programming that aims to replace incarceration with opportunity by delivering client and community centered programs that treat every individual with dignity and respect. The interdisciplinary team at BCS provides a variety of different social services as alternatives to incarceration for those facing a criminal charge in Bronx County.
Anthony believes deeply in the power of strong communities to lift up individuals. He has dedicated his career to public service, first in education, then in criminal justice reform. Before joining the Center, Anthony worked at The Fortune Society, specializing in both alternative to incarceration and supervised release in both the Manhattan and Bronx courthouses. As the son of Italian immigrants, who grew up watching his father work on construction sites across the Bronx, Anthony is so proud to now be able to help build the Bronx in a different way.
