This is a free event is open to the community and offers a great opportunity to connect with a wide range of organizations and services from across Staten Island, including the New York Public Library, El Centro del Immigrante, the Pride Center, and more!

A part of our collaboration with the Manhattan Theatre Club for their play ‘Punch’. Watch the play and hear from community change-makers—including Center Staff Layman Lee—who activate the arts as a vehicle for advocacy and social change, and unpack how people access art as a tool for self-expression, individual transformation, and universal connection.
The Power of Peer Mentorship: Effective Strategies for Preventing Youth Violence
Join us for a drop-in call about key strategy for effective youth engagement in community violence intervention programs which will include an overview of peer mentorship as a violence prevention strategy, peer mentorship approaches, and implementation tools and strategies. This will be an opportunity for to share successes and discuss challenges in implementing peer mentorship.
Back for another year, we are offering help, social services, and resources to Lower Manhattan! We’ll be bringing together organizations working in employment, housing, healthcare, mental health and substance use treatment, and more.
