Building Community Justice: Data First, AI Second

Webinar Details

Artificial intelligence is being implemented across our work and life, including in the justice system through generative tools, predictive applications, agents, and automation. But before adopting the latest tool, we need to talk about the foundation AI depends on: data.

On November 10, join researchers and experts in the justice system and technology on what it takes to implement AI successfully, starting with a foundation of data first.

Data readiness isn’t simply about having more data. It’s about having data that is accurate and understood. Before asking, “What can we build with AI?”, jurisdictions may need to ask more basic questions. Join us to explore what data readiness means, how to responsibly prepare for AI and what challenges need to be addressed. The conversation will look at appropriate testing grounds you can use before these technologies are applied to higher-stakes decisions and explore what funders see as areas of opportunity around AI.
