Anthony (Tony) Matrone is an Assessment Coordinator in Syracuse City Courts Community Court. Anthony earned a degree in Social Work from Syracuse University and an Associates Degree in Human Services at Onondaga Community College. Additional education includes a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor, a certificate in Moral Recognition Therapy, and a certificate in Detox Acupuncture.
Anthony worked as an inpatient counselor at Commonwealth Place for ten years and as a case manager for Syracuse Community Drug Treatment Court for sixteen years before retiring on 1/19/2016. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors at Serenity Hall and on the Advisory Board at the Center for Community Alternates.
