Basma Eldweik

Basma has been with the Center for Court Innovation since 2010 in a number of roles at the Midtown Community Court, Red Hook Community Justice Center, and Civil Alternatives, the project that operates the community service aspect of New York City’s Criminal Justice Reform Act. She also coordinated the Alternative to Detention program at the Staten Island Youth Justice Center where she was responsible for developing and operating long-term programming for Family Court-involved youth. She has her B.A. and M.A. in International Crime and Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
