Blanca Gates is a bilingual Community Liaison for Diversion Programs at Midtown Community Court. In her role, she acts as the first and primary point of contact for potential and current program participants by conducting initial outreach, preliminary intakes, scheduling, and completion protocols. She also helps connect clients to other resources, as well as maintain a positive relationship with New York Police Precincts. Blanca has previously held positions in a Connecticut probation office and a Manhattan Criminal Defense law firm. She received a B.S in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology from the University of New Haven and looks forward to attending law school in the near future.
