Camille Wada

Associate Director, Data Analytics and Applied Research

Camille Wada is the Associate Director of Data Analytics and Applied Research at the Center for Justice Innovation. Her research is mainly focused on pre-trial reform efforts, including the supervised release program run by the Center’s own operating programs in Brooklyn and Staten Island. In collaboration with programmatic staff and other City and court stakeholders, she monitors and evaluates the current program to inform data-driven decision-making at the policy level. Prior to joining the Center, Camille founded a violence prevention after-school program for justice system-involved youth in New Orleans, LA, and conducted large-scale epidemiological studies at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Camille holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
