Christopher Heinrich

Chris Heinrich is the Program Manager of Diversion Programs at Midtown Community Court. In this role, he leads a team of staff to execute innovative pre-arraignment diversion programming for people who have been arrested for the first time in Manhattan. Chris and his team aim to create and facilitate alternative experiences through the criminal justice system that are grounded in procedural justice and client-centered practices. Prior to joining the Center, Chris worked with youth and families at Harlem RBI and the Vera Institute of Justice in a direct service capacity. He also has a professional background in training and facilitation, event production and communications and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State.
