Colleen Conroy

Colleen Conroy is a senior mental health social worker at Brooklyn Justice Initiatives. Ms. Conroy gathers referrals from the Department of Corrections and works with defense attorneys and prosecutors to help mentally ill, nonviolent offenders receive mental health treatment through the Brooklyn Court-based Intervention and Resource Team. In her role as a social worker, she performs mental health assessments, creates treatment plans, and carries a caseload that involves case management and supportive counseling for clients. She also works with youth. Ms. Conroy graduated from the University of New Haven with a BS in criminal justice with concentrations in victim service administration and juvenile and family justice. She holds a master’s of social work from the University of Connecticut. Colleen is a licensed clinical social worker.
