Farah Mohmad is a Social Worker at the Red Hook Community Justice Center. In her role, she works with individuals with ongoing cases by providing them with counseling and case management services in addition to making any community-based referrals. In her previous role at the Center, Farah facilitated community service programs as an alternative to monetary payments for certain low level civil summonses. Prior to joining the Center, Farah worked with various populations including newly arriving refugee families in addition to middle-school students who are academically and emotionally struggling. Farah holds a B.A. in Psychology from NYU Abu Dhabi and a Masters of Social Work (MSW) from NYU. She is a Licensed MSW in New York State.
