Imani St. Hilaire is a resource coordinator for the supervised release program. In this role, she communicates with court parties about the eligibility of arrested and youth on misdemeanor and non-violent felony charges for supervised release in lieu of pretrial detention. Previously, Imani comes to us from the Harlem Children’s Zone where she’s worked as a Humanities Academic Specialist for the last two and a half years. There, she developed numerous programs and curricula to support the instruction of more than 40 students per day in multiple subjects. Before graduating from Baruch College, she studied Conflict Management & Human Rights and Transformation at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. She holds a degree in Communications and a Double Minor in Sociology and Law and Social Policy.
