Jacqueline Renaud-Rivera is a senior program associate with the Red Hook Responders at the Red Hook Community Justice Center. Her main responsibilities are to respond to the social needs in the community and help residents recover from Hurricane Sandy and any future natural disasters. Before joining the Center, she worked as a department of mental health crisis counselor and counseled those directly affected by Hurricane Sandy in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Prior to this position, she was a parent coordinator with the Board of Education. Mrs. Renaud-Rivera received her B.A. in Criminal Justice from John Jay College, and is a proud, long-time Red Hook resident.
