Jonathan Monsalve is the project director for Brooklyn Justice Initiatives. In his current role. Mr. Monsalve oversees BJI’s day-to-day operations and staff. Prior to joining BJI, Mr. Monsalve worked at the Council of State Governments Justice Center’s Reentry Program. At the Reentry Program, he provided support to jurisdictions that were planning and implementing justice reforms involving collaborations between corrections and workforce systems. Mr. Monsalve also worked to promote access to employment for people with criminal records. He previously served as director of workforce development and fatherhood programs at the Center for Court Innovation’s Midtown Community Court. Mr. Monsalve received his BA and MS criminal justice from New Jersey City University.
