Lazaro Montas was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in the Bronx. He received his Associate Applied Science Degree in Criminal Justice at ASA College, and his Bachelors and Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling at Revelation 3:20 Theological University. Lazaro started his career at Educational Assistance Cooperation/Queens TASC (Treatment Alternative for Safer Communities) as a Case Manager/Court Representative for first-time felony offenders. He then moved on to PSCH (Promoting Specialized Care and Health) as a Mental Health Case Manager at SRO (Single Room Occupancy) and worked at EAC Health Homes as a Care Coordinator. Lazaro joined the Bronx Community Solutions team in 2016 as a Court Representative for CIRT (Court Intervention Resources Team) and is currently a Resource Coordinator in the ATI (Alternative to Incarceration) program.
