Meredith Kornfeind

Social Worker

Meredith Kornfeind is a licensed social worker at Brooklyn Justice Initiatives. In this role, she works within the alternative to incarceration program to support individuals with misdemeanor and non-felony charges. Ms. Kornfeind provides case management and clinical assessment in an array of court-based programs and facilitates on-site psychoeducation programming. Prior to joining BJI, Ms. Kornfeind interned at the Osborne Association where she developed and facilitated programming around the impact of incarceration on young people. Ms. Kornfeind holds a B.A. in Human Service Studies from Elon University and a Master’s of Science in Social Work from Columbia University.
