Monica Shaw is the Program Associate of the Parent Support Program in the Syracuse office. Monica works in collaboration with Onondaga County Family court to help non-custodial parents find employment, meet child support obligations, and build stronger relationships with their children by linking participants to a range of services. Her areas of interest include child welfare, public health, and prison reform. Monica holds a B.A. in Human Services, an AAS in Liberals Arts and AAS in Human Services from Columbia College of Missouri. Before joining the Center, Monica worked as a Lead Reinsurance Analyst for a reputable Financial Protection Company, holding various positions there for 19 years. She also has 15 years of experience being an entrepreneur as a salon owner.
