Becky Kavoussi is a social worker at Brooklyn Justice Initiatives, working primarily with young people. Previously Ms. Kavoussi worked in supportive housing providing clinical and concrete services to former street homeless adults suffering from severe mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse disorders. She also sees clients at “New Pathways,” a psychotherapy practice in Park Slope, Brooklyn. She holds a B.A. in sociology from the University of Maryland, as well as a Masters of Social Work from New York University.
