Sarah Jackson is a social worker with the supervised release program at Brooklyn Justice Initiatives. She works pre-trial with clients arrested on misdemeanor and non-violent felony charges who would otherwise be detained on low bail. Previously, Ms. Jackson worked as a substance abuse counselor at an outpatient clinic and a victim advocate for survivors of sexual assault and interpersonal violence. Ms. Jackson holds a B.A. in English from the University of Virginia and a MSW in social work from New York University.
