Shlomit Levy

Project Director of Brooklyn Felony Diversion

Shlomit Levy, LCSW is the current Project Director for The Center for Justice Innovation’s Brooklyn Felony Diversion, which includes Brooklyn Mental Health Court and Felony Alternative to Incarceration programming. Throughout her career, she has worked with populations including adolescents and adults with severe mental illness in various settings including residential, supportive housing, community health clinic, and the court system.

Shlomit’s various roles have included Assistant Residence Director for The Bridge, Inc., Clinical Director for Alternatives to Incarceration and Supervised Release with Bronx Community Solutions (part of the Center for Justice Innovation), and Behavioral Health Director for the Street Health Outreach and Wellness Program overseen by New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation. Shlomit earned a BA from Stockton College in Psychology, an MSW from Rutgers University, and has completed coursework for her DSW from NYU.
