Tonya Tucker

Coordinator of Victim Services, Newark Community Solutions

Tonya Tucker is a coordinator of victim services at Newark Community Solutions. In this capacity Ms. Tucker is responsible for providing a range of court-based clinical and social services to adult defendants coming through the Newark Municipal Court, including intake screening, clinical assessments, treatment recommendations, referrals to community-based providers, compliance monitoring, on-site psycho-educational groups, case management, crisis intervention, and counseling services. Before she joined Newark Community Solutions, Ms. Tucker had served in various capacities with several New Jersey agencies that serve incarcerated and reentering populations including The New Jersey Association on Correction’s FORGE Project and Essex County College’s W.I.S.E. Women’s Center. Ms. Tucker graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Social Work.
