Tracey O’Connell is a senior social worker with the supervised release program at Brooklyn Justice Initiatives. In this role, she works with clients arrested on misdemeanor and non-violent felony charges who would otherwise be detained on low bail pre-trial. Previously, Ms. O’Connell counseled children and families at JCCA’s Child and Adolescent Guidance Center. She has also provided counseling and court advocacy to survivors of sexual assault. Ms. O’Connell holds a master’s in social work from New York University.
