UPNEXT

To me, being at UPNEXT was like being resuscitated, it was a second chance. Through lessons at UPNEXT, I became a better person, a better man, and a better father.
At our last community engagement event in Times Square, we gave away PPE, school supplies, clothing, bags and more to members of the community. It is our pleasure to serve by giving away supplies during COVID-19.
We enjoy welcoming new fathers into our program via community engagement events, so that they can connect with their children via parenting classes as well as find and maintain employment through workforce development classes.
The staff at UpNext prepare gift bags to give to our participant's and their families for the holidays.
With the help of our partners at GoodPlus, we are able to support fathers in providing much needed resources they may need for their family. This is a participant from our program receiving resources and gifts for his family at one of our community engagement events.
UPNEXT is a Workforce Development and Fatherhood Engagement Initiative of the Midtown Community Court. Key partners include: The Department of Youth and Community Development, The Times Square Alliance, NYLAG (New York Legal Assistance Group), HRA (Harlem Center for Education) and MoMA (Museum of Modern Art), GOOD+, Department of Probation, and the Center for Justice Innovation's Parent Support Program.
