Overview
Treatment courts are interdisciplinary collaborations between criminal justice and treatment professionals, integrating supervision and service strategies to assist people who are struggling with the negative impacts of substance use and mental health disorders. This study explored the extent to which treatment courts for adults in the U.S. criminal justice system utilize health risk prevention strategies and what factors affect the implementation of these practices.
