Overview

Treatment courts are interdisciplinary collaborations between criminal justice and treatment professionals, integrating supervision and service strategies to assist people who are struggling with the negative impacts of substance use and mental health disorders.

This study shared data and insights gathered from focus groups and individual interviews on their lived experience with the treatment courts system in 8 sites across 6 states, aiming to identify racial and ethnic disparities.
