What Are Coordinated Community Responses?

Apr 17, 2026

Overview

A Coordinated Community Response brings together a diverse group of community partners to develop a shared vision to collectively and consistently address the widespread impact of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking and provide multiple pathways to support, healing, and accountability for families. This five-minute animated video explains what a coordinated community response is, why it matters, and how this collaborative approach can strengthen your community’s response to gender-based violence.

Animated by the Center for Justice Innovation’s Youth Justice Board members Jaylynn Gaston and Keith Albeionce.
