We celebrate Judge Alex Calabrese’s compassionate and innovative leadership as a justice reformer before he departs for new opportunities and thank him for his 22 years as presiding judge of the Red Hook Community Justice Center. From Red Hook, he inspired practitioners around the world to embrace new and more effective approaches that emphasize respect, healing, problem-solving, and community well-being.
